Meet Ryan Albrecht, M.D.
Dr. Albrecht is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He joined Western Slope Orthopaedics in June 2022. Dr. Albrecht completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Following training, he became an attending surgeon at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, where he trained orthopedic residents and eventually was acting chief of the orthopedic department.
Dr. Albrecht has extensive experience in joint arthroplasty, joint arthroscopy, sports-related injuries, fracture care, and hand surgery. He utilizes some of the newest technological advancements in orthopedic surgery to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Dr. Albrecht and his family enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities the region in and around Montrose has to offer, such as hiking, camping, fishing, and skiing. They also remain quite busy with sports activities his two young sons participate in.
